Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
REVISED RULES AND REGULATIONS
The pool staff welcomes all members to the pool and hopes that we can
make your time at the pool enjoyable. However, part of having an enjoyable
time at the pool coincides with being safe and following rules. The
following are a review of club rules which will be once again enforced:
GENERAL CLUB REVIEW
- Children under fourteen (14) years of age are not allowed to romp
or play in the clubhouse, locker rooms or the patio.
- No one under the age of 21 may sit at any bar in the clubhouse.
- Minors are not allowed in the 19th hole.
- Persons in swimming attire should remain within the pool and snack
bar area. Swimmers leaving the pool for other parts of the
club building should dress in proper attire.
- No children under twelve (12) years of age will be allowed on the
golf course unless playing golf. Children under 10 years of age are
not allowed on the golf course unless playing golf and accompanied
by their parent or guardian.
- Children may not play on the golf course or near the ponds
- No one shall ride a bike, scooter, etc. on any grass area
- Children riding bicycles to and from the club are required to follow the
rules of the road. Please park and lock your bike at the bike racks
provided. Bikes should not be ridden through the parking lot or the patio
areas.
POOL RULES REVIEW
- All swimmers must sign in (giving name and member's number) at
the bathhouse before entering the pool area.
- All guests must be signed in (giving name and the total number
of guests) at the bathhouse before entering the pool area.
- Food may not be taken into the pool area. Swimmers are expected
to use the Snack Bar facilities and other areas designated for eating
and drinking.
- No person will be admitted into the pool area unless a lifeguard
is on duty.
- The lifeguards are expected to enforce all pool rules. Please respect
the lifeguards.
- Personal conduct within the pool facility must be such that the
safety of self and others is not jeopardized. No running, pushing,
dunking, boisterous rough play, or chicken fights (patrons on each
others' shoulders) will be permitted. Stern disciplinary measures
will be taken for violations of this rule.
- Diving in water less than
5 feet deep is not permitted except when allowed for competitive swimming
and training.
- Diving Board Rules are as follows :
- Only 1 (one) person will be allowed on the board at any one time.
- All jumps and dives are to be executed from the front of the board,
and from a standing position. No hand stands, double bouncing, or sitting
dives will be allowed.
- Each diver must observe that the person in front of them has swum
to the side or has cleared the area before beginning their dive.
- No hanging from the underside of the board.
- The use of flotation devices and other toys shall not be permitted
on the boards.
- Goggles are not permitted on the diving boards.
- All accidents, however, minor, are to be reported to the Pool Manager
or lifeguard on duty.
- Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the
nose or otherwise introducing contaminants into the pool is not
permitted.
Whenever additional rules and regulations are deemed advisable for the proper
operation of the pool and the protection of the swimmers, the Pool
Manager is authorized to issue and put into effect such rules and
regulations, either printed or verbal.
