March 2010

I hope all of you have had a relaxing winter and maybe had the opportunity to escape the long winter that Mother Nature provided us with.  As spring is approaching, I wanted to introduce you to a new face in the Golf Shop and let you know of the returning veterans of the Aurora Country Club.

Dan Covalsky, Assistant Golf Professional…Dan is a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University were obtained his degree in Business.  Dan is from St. Charles and has been employed at Prairie Landing Golf Club in West Chicago for the past 6 years in all facets of the golf operation.  Dan has come very highly recommended and will be a great addition to our staff.

Steve Panek, Golf Shop Assistant…Steve did a tremendous job as my Assistant in 2009, but had the opportunity to return to school to finish his degree in Business.  Steve wanted to remain working at the Club while playing golf for me at North Central College so he will be working part time while completing his degree and hopefully shooting great scores for North Central College.

Ashley Schultz, Golf Shop Assistant…Ashley will be returning for her 3rd year at Aurora Country Club.  Ashley is attending Eastern Illinois University.

Brian Botterweck, Golf Shop Assistant…Brian will be returning for his 2nd year at Aurora Country Club.  Brian is currently working on his Masters Degree at North Central College.
