Foursomes/Fivesomes have preference on the golf course. However, players not maintaining pace, shall allow faster groups to play through. (No more than five (5) players will play in a group between May 1st and September 30th.) If there is a rush, the Golf staff will arrange for multiple starting points and will manage play to lessen the possibility of interruption during a round. The Golf Staff will ranger the course so as to keep players just starting their rounds out of the way of those who may be in the middle of a round and to assist with the overall Pace of Play.

Pace of Play Guidelines
Always concern yourself with where the group in front of you is at all times. Maintain pace with them. It makes no difference where the group behind you is. Please adhere to Rule 6-7 of the U.S.G.A. Rules of Golf; "The player shall play without undue delay and in accordance with any Pace of Play guidelines which may be laid down by the Committee….". (Note: Aurora Country Club's "Pace Rating" as established by the Board of Directors, is 4 hrs. and 15 minutes, an average of 13 1/2 minutes per hole played. {This allows for 12 minutes between nines}). LET FASTER GROUPS PLAY THROUGH. Let's all practice proper Golf Etiquette.

Tournaments (Golf Outings, etc.)
Members will be notified of outside golf events, but none will be scheduled during the months of June, July or August unless arranged for at a meeting of the Board of Directors.
